Conformance status

This website aims to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 level AA. Automated testing with axe-core reports no violations across all pages, and the site is additionally checked manually with keyboard navigation and screen readers.

Measures taken

  • Semantic HTML landmarks, one <h1> per page, and a logical heading order.
  • A visible skip link to the main content on every page.
  • Full keyboard operability with clearly visible focus indicators.
  • Text and interface colours that meet WCAG 2.2 AA contrast ratios.
  • Meaningful alternative text for informative images; decorative images hidden from assistive technology.
  • Form fields with persistent labels, clear error messages, and status announcements.
  • Touch targets of at least 44x44 CSS pixels.
  • Responsive layouts that reflow down to 320px without loss of content or functionality.
  • Respect for reduced-motion preferences and content available in English and Bulgarian.

Testing approach

  • axe-core automated audits (WCAG 2.0/2.1/2.2 A and AA rule sets).
  • Manual keyboard-only walkthroughs of every page and interactive component.
  • Screen reader spot checks with NVDA and VoiceOver.
  • Zoom to 200% and 400% reflow checks.

Known limitations

Content hosted on third-party platforms that I link to (for example media interviews and articles) is outside my control, so its accessibility may vary. Blog articles marked "Coming soon" are placeholders and will be reviewed for accessibility before publication.
